Sae-Ahm Kim earned her BM and MM from Seoul National University and won the first place in Concours International de Composition du Festival Pablo Casals 5ème Edition in 2013. Additionally, her music was performed at Choson-ilbo Debut Concert, 2012’s Young Composer’s Night: Chamber Concert, and also at 2016’s KOMPONISTOJ – Neue Musik International Ensemble Reconsil. Her collaborative work “Skéné: secluded selves” was selected to be part of the Soma Museum Archive. Following this, she was artist in residence at KulturKontakt Austria and her work was performed by the Korean Chamber Orchestra as part of the Resident Composer Program of Arts Council Korea in 2017.
