Phoebe Bognár is a flutist, composer, and performer. Her approach to creativity is sewn with vibrancy and fluidity, and explores a diverse range of artistic entities, mediums, and styles.

Phoebe has performed in a wide range of festivals and events, notably at Lucerne Festival, Zeiträume Festival (CH); Gaudeamus Festival (NL); Berliner Festspiel, Ultraschall Berlin, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, cresc… Biennale für aktuelle Musik Frankfurt, Acht Brücken (DE); Warsaw Autumn (PL); Ultima Contemporary Music Festival (NO); Rainy Days Festival (LU); Göteborg Arts Sounds Festival (SE); Time of Music Festival (FI); Sydney Festival und Queensland Music Festival (AU).

She has also performed widely with renowned ensembles and orchestras including Ensemble Modern, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble SCOPE, Dedalus Ensemble, Cantando Admont, Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra and Speak Percussion.

Phoebe is passionate about collaborations across genres, art forms and disciplines, and delving into new and exciting creative expression. The use of voice, language, gesture, theatre, improvisation, electronics, visuals, and activism are central to her creative practice and projects.
