V.E.R-V. was born as a non-profit organization within the walls of the "Benedetto Marcello" Conservatoire of Venice, thanks to the confluence of composers, musicians and visual artists interested in exploring new ways for artistic research and production through an independent and functional platform particularly focused on the sound/performance field. The most recent collaborations include - as well as the "Benedetto Marcello" Conservatoire of Venice - the record label 19'40”, the Venetian organizations Biennale Urbana, Live Arts Cultures, Suonifreschi and Pas-e, M9, Alba Festival and the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music TAU (Tel Aviv University). All of these networking experiences allow V.E.R-V. to focus its activities on the activation of new networks in the Venetian territory, as to create a reservoir of specialized skills able to enhance the technical and artistic professions that reside within the metropolitan city.
